Our Story

Built on Patience, Shaped by Bangkok

maleeinsad was founded in Bangkok with a straightforward purpose: to offer financial education that respects the intelligence and life experience of adults who are already 40 years into their journey.

Who We Are

A Quiet Space for Financial Thinking

maleeinsad was established in 2009 on Rama IV Road in Bangkok's Sathon district. The founders — a licensed financial planner and a Thai estate attorney — had spent years observing the same frustration: adults in their 40s and 50s who were capable, thoughtful people, yet found themselves without a structured way to think through their financial lives as those lives grew more complex.

The Institute's name comes from the Thai word for jasmine — a flower that opens in the evening, unhurried. That image shaped the early decisions about what kind of place this would be: not a sales environment, not a seminar circuit, but something closer to a study room with good advisors available.

Over fifteen years, we have worked with more than 600 learners from across Thailand — business owners, government employees, retired teachers, parents navigating university fees and elder care simultaneously. The courses have been refined through those conversations.

Our approach does not promise specific outcomes. What we offer is a structured way of looking at your own situation clearly, with qualified practitioners available to help you think it through.

Our Mission

To provide the clearest, most contextually relevant financial education available to Thai adults at midlife — delivered without pressure, urgency, or oversimplification.

Our Vision

A Thailand where adults entering their middle decades have access to the financial knowledge that was previously reserved for those with private wealth managers — regardless of their starting point.

Our Values

Respect for the learner's autonomy. Transparency about what we know and what remains uncertain. Care in how information is presented. Patience as a design principle, not a courtesy.

How We Work

Standards We Hold Ourselves To

Licensed Practitioners Only

Every instructor and consulting mentor holds an active professional licence in their area — financial planning, law, or tax practice. We do not use unqualified presenters.

Curriculum Reviewed Annually

Thai tax law changes. Provident fund rules change. We review all course materials every twelve months and update them to reflect current legislation before each cohort begins.

Confidentiality as Standard

What learners share in consultation sessions and worksheets stays within the Institute. We have a formal confidentiality policy and do not share personal financial information with third parties.

No Product Recommendations

We do not sell financial products. Our instructors have no commercial relationships with fund managers, insurers, or banks. Guidance is educational, not transactional.

Small Cohort Sizes

Our courses run with limited enrolment — the senior programme to six learners, others to a maximum of twelve. This is a deliberate choice that keeps conversations personal and relevant.

Feedback Shapes Each Cohort

At the end of each programme, learners provide structured feedback. We use those responses to make specific adjustments for the next group — not as a formality, but as part of how we maintain quality.

Financial Education for a Stage of Life That Deserves Attention

Adults navigating their 40s and 50s in Thailand face financial decisions that rarely appear in general personal finance courses. The overlap of children's university costs with aging parent care, the timing of RMF and SSF contributions relative to peak earning years, the question of how to structure an estate for children who may live or work abroad — these are not beginner topics. They are the daily concerns of a generation that has been largely underserved by conventional financial education.

maleeinsad exists to address that gap. Our courses draw on Thai law, Thai tax structures, and the social realities of multi-generational households in Bangkok and across the country. The practitioners who teach and consult with our learners have spent decades working on exactly these questions — not in theory, but in practice.

Learners who come to us are not looking for shortcuts. They want to understand their situation accurately, consider their options carefully, and make decisions that are genuinely their own. Our job is to help with the understanding — and then to step back.
